Josh Roberts : Executive Chef

At 26 Josh has enjoyed the last 10 years working in some of the UK’s finest kitchens including Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons and The Royal Crescent Hotel.

Ed May : Managing Director

After working in some of the world’s finest resorts and hotels Eat5star was created to provide a unique dining experience providing food and service excellence with a creative and exciting style.

In 2002 Ed was chosen to be part of the successful Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa in Jackson New Hampshire, USA. This fine enterprise has been awarded the Wine Spectator "Best Award of Excellence", the AAA Four Diamond ratings and the “Best restaurant in the world” by Conde Nast Traveller in October 2002. This was a great insight to the luxury aspect of hospitality and fine dining and encouraged Ed to spend a further 2 years working in America at The Wentworth Hotel again in Jackson and onto Courchevel 1850 France.

Once Ed returned to the UK he saw a gap in the market for a specialist catering company in Bath and so Eat5star was born. The company has since grown from a mother and son partnership to a team of enthusiastic, energetic and experienced people who dedicate their lives to making your event as spectacular as you dreamed.

Overseeing all of the catering Josh is constantly “wowing” our clients with delicious and creative food whether it be a private house party or wedding for 150 guests.

Josh has a team of people beneath him that really are the backbone of the company ensuring each member of staff has the passion for the Eat5star catering company to continue to grow with the fun and passion that started on day one.

Chris Hulbert : Sous Chef
Again at 26, Chris has worked at the luxury Bath Priory Hotel for over 4 years prior to joining Eat5star where he worked under the direction of two Michelin Star Michael Caines MBE. Chris brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm and we are thrilled to be able to offer 2 exceptional chefs to our customers.
